The National Cancer Registry Indonesia
Incidence
The National Cancer Registry (NCR) in RI is a Hospital-based Registry developed in 2004. It was established under the patronage oh the ministry of Health (MOH), POI (Indonesian Society of Oncology)and YKI (Indonesian Cancer Foundation). The NCR is suppoted by Roche and commenced reporting cancer cases fom 01 January 2005.
Objective
The primary goal of the NCR is to define the population-based incidence of cancer in RI. Future propositions include supporting early detection and cancer screening programs and supporting cancer research projects.
